The sprayer

What is available
34 fine mist sprayers and 19 trigger sprayers among the 239 closures. For a category defined by how it atomises, that is the half of the shelf that matters.
Fine mist against trigger
A fine mist pump gives a soft cloud suited to a room or a linen spray. A trigger gives volume and reach, which suits upholstery and a larger bottle. They are different products rather than different sizes.
The finishes they sit on
24-410 and 20-410, which between them carry 268 of the 413 containers on this shelf. The pairing is deep, so the bottle choice stays open after the sprayer is chosen.
Dip tube length matters more than people expect
A tube cut for a different bottle leaves product behind or kinks against the base. For a tall narrow bottle this is worth checking on the actual container rather than assuming.
Alcohol attacks the seals, not the bottle
The gasket, the spring and the dip tube are in continuous contact. A sprayer that works for a water-based product can fail on an alcohol one, and it fails slowly.
Output volume is a formulation decision too
A sprayer that delivers a lot per stroke empties a 50 mL bottle quickly and makes a strong fragrance overwhelming. Matching the output to the concentration is part of designing the product.
Test it at the end of the bottle
The last 10 percent is where a dip tube sucks air and a pump loses prime. That is also the moment the customer forms their opinion about quality.
Buy the sprayer and the bottle together
A pump is specified against a neck finish and a bottle depth. Ordering them from two suppliers at two times is how a dip tube turns out to be wrong for a container that fits perfectly.
