What we do not say
On this page13
Not whether any oil is safe
Nothing on these pages assesses an essential oil, for any route or any population. The one substance named is named because a regulation names it.
Not dilution
Carrier oil is one of this group's leaves and carries twenty-two sub-leaves. How much of what goes into which carrier is not addressed anywhere here.
Not exposure
Dermal, inhaled or ingested. Those are questions for someone qualified and they are outside a packaging page entirely.
Not the rest of the substance list
Only the methyl salicylate paragraph was obtained verbatim. Enumerating the others from memory would be inventing a value.
Not the test protocols
The effectiveness testing in 16 CFR 1700.20 is set out in the pet and veterinary property, which is built on it. Repeating it here would be duplication rather than content.
Not whether a product is a cosmetic or a drug
Which changes the labeling regime entirely. The cannabis topicals property covers the cosmetic side and the hair care property the drug side.
And not state law
Which a national catalog cannot speak to and which differs.
What is here is the packaging consequence
A named threshold, two compliant routes, and a measurement showing that this catalog supplies neither.
Nor the lining of a tin
10 of the containers here are tins and we publish no lining for any of them. For an aggressive oil against bare steel that is a question to ask rather than assume.
Plus an honest account of a good oil shelf
95 glass containers, 43 droppers, 10 tins, a complete roller ball system, and 70 of 140 containers offering some light protection.
And a clear statement of the gap is part of the offering
A buyer who needs a child-resistant closure learns it here in one sentence rather than after a search through 358 closures.
Those two things are separable
Most of what this group covers is outside the threshold, and for that the shelf is one of the better ones in the catalog.
