The products

A favor is the product the three tests describe

On this page11
Final assembly, significant processing, components. A gift set is exactly that shape.

The three tests are written about a product made of parts

Final assembly or processing here. All significant processing here. All or virtually all ingredients or components made and sourced here. A product with no components has little use for the third test.

And a favor or a gift set is nothing but parts

A container, a closure, a filling, a label, a ribbon, a box. Six components at least, from six supply chains, assembled into one thing that is then described to a buyer.

Which makes this group the clearest illustration of the three tests in this library

Not because the rule reaches anything here, but because the structure it describes is the structure of the product. A favor assembled in a kitchen from parts bought in is the paradigm case.

And it is the case where the first test is easy and the third is hard

Final assembly in the United States is settled by where the person filling the jars is standing. All or virtually all components made and sourced here is a question about every one of those six supply chains.

So a maker who assembles here could satisfy one test and fail another

Which is the whole point of the three. A claim that reads as being about where the work happened is tested against where the materials came from as well.

This catalog cannot answer any of the three for anything

There is no country of origin field on any product, no marking recorded, and no certificate reference anywhere. Five properties in this library report the same absence from a different direction.

Which is a limitation worth stating rather than working around

A maker who needs to know where a jar was made has to ask, and the answer is not on this shelf. Nothing on these pages estimates, infers or implies one.

And it is the reason no page here helps with an origin claim

Not because the question is uninteresting but because the record carries none of the facts the three tests need. A guide that cannot supply the inputs should not discuss the output.

What the shelf can answer is everything physical

A capacity, a height, a diameter, a material, a color, a neck finish, a case pack and a price, each from a named field and dated to the day it was read.

Which is the division this library has kept to across all of it

Measure what the record holds, name the field, date the figure, and say plainly where the record stops. On this group the record stops at the jar, and the claim is somebody else’s to make.

The eight leaves in this group as the catalog indexes them: advent calendar, corporate gift, gift set, party favor, sample set, shower favor, subscription box and wedding favor. 16 CFR part 323 governs an unqualified claim of United States origin and does not reach any of them.
Written from 16 CFR part 323 and from the catalog as it stood on 19 October 2026. Part 323 is the Made in USA Labeling Rule and it governs an unqualified claim of United States origin; it imposes no labeling requirement on anybody who makes no such claim, and it does not reach any container on this shelf. The catalog records no country of origin for any product, so nothing here states the origin of anything or whether any product may be labeled Made in the USA. Nothing here is advice about origin claims or advertising. This shelf is a subset of the store-small-dry shelf and the sewing notions property enumerates that shelf in full.
