Two of the three buying flags are not independent. Which a filter will test twice.
Testing drop ship only and quote only as separate conditions
Every drop ship row in the catalog is also quote only, all 495 of them with no exceptions. Drop ship is a reason a row is quote only, not a separate state, and a filter that tests both tests one of them twice.
Reading quote only as unpriceable
The recorded reason is unavailable on 92 of the 94 quote only rows here. One is drop ship and one has no price. So the flag is mostly a timing state, which is what the automotive property found on a neighboring shelf.
Counting the catalog as containers and closures
The component kind field has three values and the third is accessory, with 79 products in it. Only three of those appear in any use case group, so 76 are invisible from every shelf in this library.
Collapsing component kind and role
Seven products are recorded with both roles, as a container in one group and a closure in another, and all seven are classified as closures. A count by component kind and a count by shelf role will differ.
Expecting the J-List exemption to mean nothing has to be marked
The section excepts the article and then requires the outermost container to be marked to indicate the origin of its contents. The duty moves rather than disappearing.
Reading a bare J-List entry as covering any size
Most entries do. Three carry a dimension: ball bearings at five eighths of an inch or less, buckles at one inch or less in greatest dimension, and mica not further manufactured. Buttons carry none, so a button of any size is within the entry.
Treating an assembled article as covered by a component entry
Beads unstrung excludes a strung bead. Fish hooks except snelled fish hooks excludes one with a leader attached. Artificial flowers except bunches. Five entries carve out the assembled version of the thing.
And treating any of this as a determination about a container here
Part 134 governs the country of origin marking of imported articles and this catalog records no country of origin for any product. Whether an article is on the J-List is a tariff classification question and whether a container is a usual container turns on commercial practice. Nothing on these pages answers either.

The Davis Pack Supply catalog, measured 19 October 2026. Across this group’s 253 containers the three buying flags, full case only, drop ship only and quote only, take six of the eight possible combinations: 118 rows carry none of the three; 43 are drop ship and quote only; 41 are full case only alone; 27 are quote only alone; 18 are all three; and 6 are full case and quote only. The two combinations that do not occur are exactly the two that would require drop ship only without quote only. All 61 drop ship rows on this shelf are also quote only, and across all 2,150 products in the catalog all 495 drop ship rows are quote only, with no exceptions. The reverse does not hold: 94 rows here are quote only and 33 of those are not drop ship. 135 of the 253 carry at least one flag. The recorded quote reasons are unavailable on 92, drop ship on one and no price on one.
The Davis Pack Supply catalog, measured 19 October 2026. The component kind field takes three values across 2,150 products: 1,172 container, 899 closure and 79 accessory. Only 3 of the 79 accessories appear in any use case group, and none appears on this shelf. Separately, seven products across the catalog are recorded with both roles, as a container in one group and a closure in another, and all seven have a component kind of closure: a cap for a roller ball bottle, a lip balm tube cap, a deodorant lid, a round tub lid, two round pail lids and a square pail lid. One of the seven is on this shelf.
19 CFR 134.33, J-List exceptions: "Articles of a class or kind listed below are excepted from the requirements of country of origin marking in accordance with the provisions of section 304(a)(3)(J), Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (19 U.S.C. 1304(a)(3)(J)). However, in the case of any article described in this list which is imported in a container, the outermost container in which the article ordinarily reaches the ultimate purchaser is required to be marked to indicate the origin of its contents in accordance with the requirements of subpart C of this part. All articles are listed in Treasury Decisions 49690, 49835, and 49896. A reference different from the foregoing indicates an amendment."
