The two devices
On this page12
A disposable vape is a device
A sealed unit with a battery, a reservoir and a heating element. It is not a container and nothing in a container catalog is one.
A vape cartridge is a component
A tank or pod with a threaded or press fit into a battery. Closer to a container than a disposable is, and still an engineered part rather than a bottle.
So two of four leaves have nothing here
Which is worth stating plainly rather than letting a reader browse 74 glass bottles looking for a cartridge.
Both are named in the definition anyway
The statutory examples include a vape pen and an advanced refillable personal vaporizer, and the catch-all reaches components and parts. The legal position does not depend on us stocking them.
And a cartridge is the clearest case of the catch-all
A component of a device, often sold separately from it, which is exactly what the eleven words were written for.
What a cartridge maker needs from a packaging supplier
Secondary packaging: a carton, a blister, a tamper indication. None of which is indexed to this group either.
Our catalog is primary containers
Bottles, jars, tubs, closures. The secondary packaging question is a real one and it is not what this shelf answers.
So the group is half a group
Two leaves we could serve with the right material, and two we cannot serve at all. The archetype had no way to express that.
Which is the recurring limit
An archetype assigned per spoke describes a format and cannot say that two of the leaves beneath it are devices. The reloading property hit the same wall from the other direction.
And a cartridge has a fit problem we cannot help with
It mates with a battery on a thread or a press fit, which is a tolerance question between two engineered parts. Nothing in a bottle catalog participates in it.
Stated at the top of the group
Rather than discovered after a search. The honest offering here is two leaves, and only with containers the index is not showing.
