The products

The concentrates

On this page11
A gram needs a few millilitres. We start at 30.

All five are sold by the gram

Distillate, shatter, wax, rosin and live resin. The container is sized to a gram or a few, which is a few millilitres of interior.

And our smallest is 30 mL

Three containers at it. Everything else is larger, so the smallest jar here is several times the volume a gram needs.

Which is not a near miss

It is a factor of several, and headspace is the loss path for exactly this product. The oversize jar makes the product worse rather than just costing more.

They also differ from each other

A shatter is brittle and wants a flat interior it can be lifted off. A wax or badder is soft and wants a wall it does not climb. A distillate is a viscous liquid and wants a pour or a dip.

Our index cannot express any of that

The archetype allows glass and PP at a wide mouth, which is true of all five and useful for none. Interior finish is not a field we hold.

Live resin adds a temperature requirement

It is kept cold, and a container that goes in and out of a cold room cycles condensation on its interior. Glass and a bonded seal handle that better than PP and a plain lid.

Rosin is the solventless one

Which changes nothing about the container and everything about the customer. It is bought on terpene character, so the loss path is the thing to protect.

So the liner question is the whole question

73 heat induction seal closures and 41 F217 out of 260. Those are the two that hold a volatile fraction, and both have to be specified by name.

But a good liner on a 30 mL jar is still wrong

Because the headspace is the problem. Specifying a liner does not rescue a container five times too large.

The honest answer is to buy these elsewhere

A small-volume concentrate container, in glass, with the liner named. We do not stock one and the group name says otherwise, which is why this page exists.

Measured 19 October 2026. The smallest container in this group is 30 mL and there are 3 of them. Distillate, shatter, wax, rosin and live resin are sold by the gram in containers of a few millilitres, so five of this group's eight leaves have nothing on this shelf in the right size. Flower, pre-roll and hash are served by the jars.
The Davis Pack Supply catalog, measured 19 October 2026. The 260 closures in this group by liner: 73 heat induction seal, 41 F217, 31 pressure sensitive, 26 recorded as No Liner, 28 with nothing recorded, 21 Plastis standard, 19 PE foam, 15 foam, 3 polycone, 1 Plastis pasteur, 1 PPE. So 54 of 260 either carry no liner or have no record of one, and the remaining 206 can be specified by name.
Written from 7 U.S.C. 1639o, including the pending amendment made by Pub. L. 119-37 division B title VII section 781, and from the catalog as it stood on 19 October 2026. The per-container figure quoted here sits inside a definition of hemp-derived cannabinoid product as an exclusion, it comes from a pending amendment in a fast-moving area, and it is not a packaging regulation. It says nothing about what a state-licensed cannabis product may contain. Check the current text before relying on any of it. Our smallest container in this group is 30 mL, which is several times what a gram of concentrate needs.
