Getting started

No concentrate container

On this page11
The concentrates in the group name are not stocked. Flower, pre-roll and hash are.

What a gram of concentrate needs

A container of a few millilitres. Distillate, shatter, wax, rosin and live resin are sold by the gram, and the vessel is sized to that.

What this shelf starts at

30 mL, and there are 3 containers at it. Everything else is larger, with the bulk at 59, 118 and 237.

So five of eight leaves are unserved

Not badly served. Unserved, by a factor of several. Putting a gram of rosin in a 30 mL jar is mostly headspace.

And headspace is the enemy for this product

A volatile terpene fraction leaves the product into whatever air is above it. A container many times the fill volume is a container with a large reservoir for it to leave into.

Which makes the oversize jar actively wrong

Rather than merely wasteful. This is one of the few cases in the library where too big is a quality problem and not just a cost one.

Three leaves are genuinely served

Flower, pre-roll and hash. An eighth of flower wants a jar in the 60 to 120 mL range and this shelf has 38 containers at 59 and 118.

Pre-rolls want length rather than volume

Which this shelf does not index. We publish height and diameter, so the fit is checkable, but nothing here is a pre-roll tube.

Hash sits between the two

Sold in larger quantities than a concentrate and smaller than flower, and the 30 and 59 mL containers reach it.

So the honest division is three of eight

Stated here rather than left for a buyer to discover after measuring a jar. The same instinct as the hazmat property, for the same reason.

Closing it would be a sourcing change

A small-volume concentrate container, in glass, with a liner specified. Not a data fix and not a writing fix.

References

Measured 19 October 2026. The smallest container in this group is 30 mL and there are 3 of them. Distillate, shatter, wax, rosin and live resin are sold by the gram in containers of a few millilitres, so five of this group's eight leaves have nothing on this shelf in the right size. Flower, pre-roll and hash are served by the jars.
The Davis Pack Supply catalog, measured 19 October 2026. 357 rows: 97 containers and 260 closures, which are the same rows the edibles and adjacent botanicals groups return. 30 to 473 mL with a median of 177: 23 at 237 mL, 21 at 118, 17 at 59, 13 at 473, 6 at 177, 6 at 355, 3 at 30, and nothing below 30. 66 PP and 31 glass, with no PET, HDPE or metal. 78 jars, 12 tubs and pails, 6 bottles, 1 tube. 29 white, 24 natural, 19 clear, 11 black, 8 amber, 4 frosted, 2 blue. Necks: 24 at 89-400, 20 at 70-400, 14 at 58-400, 9 at 53-400, 13 unrecorded. Height is recorded on 95 of 97 containers and runs 1.25 to 6.59 inches with a median of 2.64; diameter is recorded on 92 and runs 1.25 to 4.63 with a median of 2.81. Only 10 containers are taller than one and a half times their diameter, 6 are 4 inches or taller and 5 are 4.5 or taller. 33 of 97 are full case only, with case packs from 72 to 1,000.
Written from 7 U.S.C. 1639o, including the pending amendment made by Pub. L. 119-37 division B title VII section 781, and from the catalog as it stood on 19 October 2026. The per-container figure quoted here sits inside a definition of hemp-derived cannabinoid product as an exclusion, it comes from a pending amendment in a fast-moving area, and it is not a packaging regulation. It says nothing about what a state-licensed cannabis product may contain. Check the current text before relying on any of it. Our smallest container in this group is 30 mL, which is several times what a gram of concentrate needs.
